Header Footer Code Manager Pro
Header Footer Code Manager Pro gives WordPress site owners one place to add, edit, review, label, and remove HTML, JavaScript, and CSS snippets. Manage small pieces of site code here instead of spreading them across add-ons or theme files. The Pro edition includes additional capabilities compared with the free edition; the Pro-versus-Free comparison identifies the differences.

Where should a snippet load?
Apply code across posts and pages, or choose a specific post, page, category, tag, or custom post type. You can also target the latest posts and choose a quantity. For manual placement, use a shortcode.
Automatic injection points include the head section, footer, top of content, and bottom of content. Device options let each snippet display on all devices, desktop only, or mobile only.
Which code and services can it handle?
The manager accepts HTML, JavaScript, and CSS snippets from services and utilities. Examples include Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Tag Manager, Clicky Web Analytics, chat modules, Facebook Pixels and scripts, Facebook image tags, Google Conversion Pixels, Crazy Egg heatmaps, Hello Bar notification bars, and site-verification code.
These snippets can add tracking or analytics code, conversion pixels, chat modules, or other embedded components. Use the content, injection, and device settings to control where the code appears.
What details are recorded for each snippet?
Give snippets labels for reference. The extension records which user added or last edited each one and when, helping you review who changed the code and where it is set to display.
Set up a snippet in WordPress
Install and activate the add-on. Open the settings link beneath its name on the add-ons page, or select the HFCM tab in the left navigation. Add a snippet, enter a label, choose its display conditions and injection location, then save it for review.
Wrap JavaScript in script tags so it runs as code instead of appearing as text. On a multisite network, activate the plugin at the subsite level only.
