Manage products and sales in one place
Use Ecwid’s control panel to manage products, clients, orders, and inventory. Payment options include PayPal, Stripe, and more than 70 other methods. Ecwid also provides mobile apps for iOS and Android. From a mobile device, you can scan products, track inventory, manage sales, accept payments, and use the device as a point-of-sale station.
Store data is synchronized between the WordPress shopping cart, Facebook store, and other online storefronts. Ecwid works with selling on Facebook and Instagram, with products, customers, orders, and inventory synchronized between WordPress and Facebook storefronts. You can display the store on multiple websites and other supported channels, then manage it from one place.
Set up shipping and taxes for your markets
Integrations with carriers including USPS, UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, and Australia Post can calculate shipping rates automatically. Tax setup is available in a few clicks, with automatic rate calculations for the United States, Canada, and EU VAT. In the United States, TaxJar integration supports automatic sales tax reporting and filing.
Hosted storage and connected utilities
Ecwid stores include unlimited hosted storage, regular backups, upgrades, and security updates. Ecwid handles software updates, security patches, and server maintenance for the online store. Ecwid is described as a PCI DSS Level 1 certified shopping cart service, which helps stores meet the security requirements of their bank.
The platform has hundreds of extensions and an API. Examples include TaxJar for tax automation, ShipStation for fulfillment, and LiveChat for customer support. Storefronts are responsive and adapt to smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, and smart watches.
