How Easy Appointments Pro extends WordPress booking

Easy Appointments Pro adds scheduling tools and integrations to the Easy Appointments WordPress system. Customers book appointments, reservations, or scheduled services online while the business handles locations, services, workers, availability, and appointment details. The system can suit service businesses such as salons, clinics, law firms, consultants, gyms, tutors, tradespeople, photography studios, and event venues.

Build schedules and connect calendars

Locations, services, and workers can each have independent time slots. Administrators connect them with dates to define availability. Booking forms can use a single-column or two-column layout, with fields configured for the details customers need to provide. Add a form to a WordPress page with a shortcode; the responsive form works across mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.

Two-way Google Calendar synchronization keeps appointment information aligned between the booking system and Google Calendar. iCalendar feeds provide another way to view appointment information in Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other apps that support the .ics format.

Send booking updates

Email notifications can go to customers, administrators, and employees. Customize message content and subject lines, then configure messages for appointment statuses such as pending, reserved, canceled, and confirmed. Customers can confirm or cancel an appointment through links in email messages.

SMS and WhatsApp notifications are available through Twilio. Use these messages for booking communication and automated appointment reminders.

Collect payments and book shared resources

Payment settings let businesses collect a deposit or full payment during booking. Supported routes include Stripe, PayPal, and WooCommerce. An AI Booking Assistant adds a conversational chat widget as another way for customers to book.

Room and resource booking can schedule shared spaces, equipment, and other items alongside people and services. This works with bookings where an appointment also needs a particular room or resource.

Configure and publish the booking form

Install Easy Appointments in WordPress, add the Pro extension, and configure its available integrations from the plugin options. Then follow the booking setup:

1. Define locations, services, workers, and available time slots.
2. Configure the appointment form and add the fields needed from customers.
3. Set notification templates and choose the communication options required.
4. Connect calendar feeds, payment services, notifications, or resources as needed.
5. Place the booking form on a WordPress page using its shortcode.

Reports and CSV export are available for appointment information.
