Choose content and place a slider
Carousel Horizontal Posts Content Slider Pro displays posts, pages, products, custom post types, images, videos, or mixed content in responsive sliders. Add a slider to a page with a shortcode, place it in a widget area, or use it with Gutenberg. Multiple sliders can hold various content groups and settings across a site.
The Pro edition includes filtering, layout, media, typography, and display controls. Choose a horizontal or vertical direction to fit the content area. A two-row layout offers another way to arrange items.
Build a focused content selection
Select items by post type, category, tag, newest or most viewed status, related content, or specific post IDs. Custom fields can provide data for display. These settings can group recent posts, related content, product selections, category highlights, or items chosen by ID.
- Combine supported post types and media in one slider.
- Use categories, tags, recency, popularity, relationships, or selected IDs to filter items.
- Use custom fields as a source of displayed data.
- Set a two-row layout and choose horizontal or vertical direction.
Set navigation and appearance
Navigation arrows and pagination let users move through slider items. FX and easing effects control transitions. Themes, custom style overrides, and colour pickers adjust the presentation; dimensions can be set by width or height. Typography choices include more than 1,000 Google Fonts.
Configure media and timing
Images and videos can open in a lightbox. Lazy loading is available for slider content, and CSS3 or hardware acceleration can be enabled for transitions. Slider scheduling supports planned content presentations.
Install and publish
Install the Pro extension in WordPress, then create or configure a slider with the available content, filtering, direction, layout, navigation, styling, media, and scheduling options. Add it to a page by shortcode, place it in a widget area, or use it with Gutenberg. Before publishing, review dimensions, colours, theme, transition settings, and lazy loading.
The add-on is widget ready and Gutenberg ready. It supports multisite installations and translation, with listed browser support for Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari. Its responsive, mobile-friendly styling adapts slider content across screen sizes.
