Keep labels and details with their images

Divi Overlay Images Pro adds an Overlay Image module to the Divi Builder. Place text directly over an picture for labels, supporting information, or calls to action, then tailor the overlay in Divi’s visual builder. The module is built for Divi 4 and is not compatible with Divi 5.

Choose when the overlay appears

Fade, Slide, and Zoom reveal the text when a visitor hovers over the image. Always keeps the overlay visible. Set the transition duration to adjust the timing; for Slide, choose Top, Bottom, Left, or Right as the direction.

• Fade: gradually reveals the overlay text.
• Slide: moves the text into view from the selected direction.
• Zoom: reveals the text with a zoom effect.
• Always: keeps the overlay visible over the image.

Add buttons or icons with Pro

The Pro edition lets you place a button or an icon alongside the overlay text. Use the button and icon style settings to adjust their appearance, and use overlay style settings to fit the image treatment to your layout.

Set up an Overlay Image module

After activation, find Overlay Image in the Divi Builder module list. Add an image and overlay content, choose an effect, and set its transition duration. If you choose Slide, choose a direction. Add a button or icon if needed, adjust the available style settings, then publish the layout.

The module can suit image-based navigation, featured content, service presentations, portfolio layouts, and product-related sections where information belongs directly over imagery.
