Structured data for WordPress

Data Tables Generator Pro is a WordPress table builder for presenting information in rows and columns, with integrated charts and graphs for visualising table data. Use it for comparison tables, pricing tables, schedules, directories, lists, datasets, and large spreadsheet-style collections without writing code.

The add-on keeps structured information inside WordPress and provides responsive tables designed to remain readable across devices. When a visual summary is useful, table data can also be represented through charts and graphs. This makes the product suitable for sites that need both detailed records and clearer visual insight.

Pro table capabilities

The Pro edition supports advanced WooCommerce product table utilities when WooCommerce is active. In the Table Creation Wizard, choose a regular Data Table or a WooCommerce Product Table built from shop products. Pro product-table capabilities include category inclusion, product ID exclusion, custom design templates and styles, searchable columns, attribute filtering, priority controls for responsive mode, and searching by hidden columns.

These tools can support searchable product catalogues, product comparison tables, and pricing lists. The free product-table functionality includes manual product assignment, column sorting, and loader selection with loader icon colour customization; the Pro edition includes the advanced product-table controls described above.

AI-assisted table management

Data Tables Generator connects with AI assistants that support the MCP standard, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Cursor. The free AI functionality can read and analyse WordPress tables through chat or voice. You can ask questions about values, request calculations, or receive summaries without exporting data or manually scanning the table.

The Pro AI Add-On is a separate paid module and requires the Pro version of Data Tables Generator. It extends the AI workflow from analysis to table creation and management. Describe an action in your connected AI assistant and the add-on can make tables, edit existing tables, apply formulas, change formatting, and import or export data. Examples include creating a three-tier pricing table, adding a discount column, calculating totals, or exporting a table as Excel.

Designed for practical publishing

Use regular tables for schedules, directories, datasets, comparison information, and pricing details. Use WooCommerce product tables to organise store products with searchable and filterable presentation. Use charts and graphs when readers need a visual view of the underlying table data.

The AI functions are intended for conversational workflows. Once connected to a compatible MCP assistant, users can type or speak requests instead of navigating every table control manually. The Pro AI Add-On is especially suited to teams that need to create or update structured data through described instructions.

Installation and setup

Install Data Tables Generator Pro in WordPress and create tables through its table-building workflow. If using the AI capabilities, connect an AI assistant that supports MCP. To create, edit, or manage tables with AI, install the separate Pro AI Add-On alongside the Pro add-on. When WooCommerce is active, choose the WooCommerce Product Table option in the Table Creation Wizard.
