Menus and toolbars

Rearrange menu entries with drag and drop, rename them, move top-level items into sub-level positions, or place them elsewhere in the menu structure. Create menu items and separators, change top-level icons using Dashicons or an uploaded icon, and set CSS classes, capability access, and link targets. Create multiple custom menus and toolbars for different administration layouts.

Toolbar settings let you add, remove, reorder, rename, or reposition items, including moving them between levels. Restore a menu or toolbar to its last saved version or to the standard WordPress arrangement.

  • Apply interface arrangements to selected roles or users.
  • Hide add-ons, users, sidebars, and meta boxes for selected users or roles.
  • Hide meta boxes across post types, including custom post types and the dashboard page.
  • Use revisions to roll back edits.

Login, admin, and frontend settings

Change the login screen background color and logo, add a backend or frontend favicon, and adjust link and button colors. Customize admin page footer text, use shortcodes such as [year] in copyright text, remove the WordPress version number from the footer, or hide the admin toolbar on the frontend.

Code settings include custom admin CSS, login CSS, JavaScript or jQuery, and PHP. You can also add custom CSS and JavaScript or jQuery to the frontend, alongside the visual interface settings.

Notices, widgets, and website modes

Create admin notices for selected users or profiles and set an expiry date. Build dashboard widgets and configure multiple notices or widgets. A coming soon or maintenance page can use custom content and a future expiry date, so the site can become live at a planned time.

Additional settings can disable automatic updates, add-on updates, or the Gutenberg block editor.

Setup and settings transfer

Install and activate Custom Admin Interface Pro in WordPress, then open its settings and pick the areas to configure. Create menus, toolbars, notices, widgets, visibility rules, or code settings; assign conditions where needed; and save revisions as you refine the interface. Export the finished settings to a file when you need to apply the configuration to other websites.
