Build a view for each screen
Choose from more than 200 column types, including custom fields, taxonomies, file data, images, dates, colors, and relational fields. Reorder and resize columns with drag and drop. Custom field formats include text, numbers, dates, images, URLs, colors, true or false values, and relationships to posts, users, or media.
For example, a post list can show featured images, custom fields, and taxonomy terms. The Media Library can show file size, dimensions, or EXIF data, while the Users screen can show roles and metadata.
Find and update records
Sort by columns and narrow lists with stackable smart filters. Filter conditions include options such as “contains,” “before,” and “is greater than.” Save filters as segments and share them with your team.
Inline editing updates supported titles, custom fields, taxonomies, and other values from the list table. Bulk editing lets you update multiple entries at once. Conditional formatting applies color to rows or cells according to rules, and CSV export gives you a portable view of table data.
Import or export column sets between sites or team members. Pro can also save column configurations to PHP for version-controlled setups.
Work with plugin data
Dedicated integrations cover Advanced Custom Fields, WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, Toolset Types, and Pods. They support displaying and editing ACF field types, managing WooCommerce product and order columns, reviewing Yoast SEO scores and metadata, and working with fields, relationships, and content types from supported extensions.
Extend the configuration
Admin Columns is open source and can be extended with actions and filters to register custom column types, change output, or connect other plugins. Developers can also register column configurations in PHP. The add-on is designed to work alongside page builders, custom post type extensions, and third-party extensions.
Get started
Install and activate the plugin, then go to Settings > Admin Columns. Choose a supported administration screen, add the fields or other information you need, and arrange the columns. Apply Pro tools such as sorting, filtering, editing, conditional formatting, or exporting to the relevant list. Documentation, getting-started guides, developer documentation, and support forums provide further setup guidance.
