Assign fields to the products that need them

PPOM PRO is the paid version of PPOM - Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce. It lets store owners collect customer choices and details on product pages, including personalization, selected options, documents, colors, dates and instructions. Apply fields to individual products, product categories or products with selected tags. This setup can support printed goods, customized gifts, selectable finishes and products that require customer files or detailed instructions.

Standard fields and specialized inputs

Standard PPOM field types include text, textarea, select, radio, checkbox, date, email, number and hidden fields. PPOM PRO extends those choices with inputs for specific kinds of product information:

• Files: Set accepted file types and size limits, and show a progress bar and thumbnail.
• Colors: Provide predefined palettes or let clients choose a color and save its Hex value.
• Dates and times: Set date ranges and offer timezone choices from a predefined list.
• Quantities and variations: Use bulk quantities, variation matrices and various quantities for options.
• Field presentation: Organize product pages with collapse inputs, dividers, fonts, emojis, conditional images and chained inputs.
• Other specialized fields: Check domain availability, add fixed-price inputs, and use text counters that limit words or characters.

Rules affect fields and prices

Dynamic pricing lets selected options change a product's price. Option prices can be taxable, and options can have assigned weight. Conditional logic for text and numeric fields includes contains, regular expression, between, multiples, less than, greater than, odd and even conditions.

Instant validation checks required fields in real time without a page reload. Minimum and maximum lengths, input masking, tooltips, field widths, CSS classes and visibility options help configure each field. Fields can be shown to everyone, guests or selected user roles.

Repeat groups for quantity-based orders

Assign multiple meta groups to one product, then use PPOM Repeater to repeat groups of fields. Conditional Repeater can repeat fields automatically according to a quantity, such as creating a name field for each personalized entry in an order. Import and export tools are available in PPOM settings.

For the cart workflow, enable cart editing so customers can modify their selections from the cart page. Other settings let fields appear in a popup and set whether grouped fields start expanded or collapsed.

Store and language integrations

PPOM PRO supports WooCommerce Currency Switcher, WPML Currency Switcher and a WooCommerce Wholesale add-on. WPML and Polylang are supported for multilingual stores. With compatibility for Advanced Order Export For WooCommerce, custom fields can be exported in CSV, XLS, XML and JSON formats.

Configure fields before publishing

Install PPOM PRO on a WordPress and WooCommerce website, then make or configure custom field groups in the plugin settings. Assign fields to products, categories or product tags, set prices and rules, and review the product page before publishing. The configured fields appear in the customer's product selection workflow.
