Social Icons Widget PRO: Sharing Buttons That Stay in View
Social Icons Widget PRO adds placement, layout, and tracking options to WordPress social icons and sharing buttons. The add-on’s icons can be added with Gutenberg blocks, classic widgets, shortcodes, or an Elementor widget. Its library includes more than 2,400 icons across five sets, covering over 250 networks as well as email, telephone, WhatsApp, and Viber destinations. Icons render as inline SVG, and pages load only the icons they use.

Where can visitors find profiles and sharing buttons?
Paste a profile link to select a matching icon, name, and brand color. The Social Profiles block can display profile handles derived from their links and follower counts entered by the site owner. PRO adds Cards and Buttons layouts for these profiles.
Sharing buttons support Facebook, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Telegram, WhatsApp, Bluesky, email, Copy Link, and Print. Add a sharing block or show buttons automatically above or below posts. Choose Circle, Square, Rounded, Outlined, Minimal, or One-tone styles, then adjust colors, sizes, padding, margins, and labels.
How does the PRO floating bar work?
The floating bar keeps sharing buttons fixed at the side of the site. Choose the left or right side, position the bar at the top, middle, or bottom, select a vertical or horizontal layout, and specify which post types show it.
What can you track or customize?
The Share Analytics Dashboard tracks how visitors share content. Share Counts can show total and individual counts on buttons. Counts can be tracked by the plugin or fetched from Facebook with your own SharedCount API key. The Like Button lets visitors engage with posts and includes engagement tracking. AI Share Buttons let readers share content to ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
PRO also works with custom SVG icon uploads and adding social icons to WordPress navigation menus. Other controls include a dashboard widget for quick statistics, a print button that opens the browser’s print dialog, a Copy Link button with visual feedback, and X/Twitter username integration through a parameter. Priority email support is included with the PRO feature set.
How do you add the functions to a site?
Install and activate the plugin, then add social icons or sharing buttons using the available block, widget, shortcode, or Elementor widget. Choose destinations and display settings. For the PRO floating bar, set its position, layout, and applicable post types, then review the result on the relevant pages.
