Create sitemaps visitors can browse

Simple Sitemap Pro builds visible HTML sitemaps from WordPress content. Add a block in the editor, select the content and layout, and preview the result before publishing. Content and Grouped sitemaps also support optional visitor search through blocks or shortcodes. Search filters entries currently displayed while matching items retain their hierarchy or topic context. When linked pagination is enabled, search covers only the current result page, not other result pages or the whole website.

Choose content and layout

Include custom post types and custom taxonomies, then use taxonomy-term filters to shape each section. Content Sitemap sections have their own ordering, limits, and include or exclude rules. Advanced responsive tab controls and horizontal layouts provide alternatives to a vertical list.

Dedicated blocks create Taxonomy Terms, Navigation Menu, Archive Links, and WooCommerce Product Sitemap sections. These utilities let visitors browse by term, menu, archive, or product content.

Filter entries and page hierarchies

Optional filters can exclude content marked noindex by Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or SEOPress, or show content for the current language when using WPML or Polylang. Automatic child-page exclusion and enhanced Child Pages controls help shape hierarchical sitemaps.

• Exclude unwanted subtrees or add excerpts, pictures, and nofollow links to child-page displays.
• Include hierarchical custom post types in child-page sitemaps.
• Add optional separators and compact featured-picture thumbnails.

The simple-sitemap-child shortcode supports child-page sections. Additional shortcodes are available for taxonomy terms and navigation menus, including classic editor and page-builder workflows.

Adjust presentation

Interface controls adjust sitemap colours and presentation, and additional filters support custom development requirements. Each sitemap instance has its own ID, so multiple sitemaps on one page can be configured and styled independently.

HTML sitemap scope

The plugin creates a visible HTML sitemap for visitors. It does not generate an XML sitemap; WordPress or an SEO add-on can continue handling the XML sitemap used by search engines.

Add a sitemap in WordPress

Install and activate Simple Sitemap Pro, insert a sitemap block in the editor, choose its content and layout, and review the settings and preview before publishing. For classic editor or page-builder projects, use the available shortcodes and configure their options.
