Choose what each WordPress backup contains

WPvivid Backup & Migration Pro creates backups for restoring, moving, or testing a site. Choose a complete copy with database and documents, all files, or the database only. Backup customization covers WordPress, themes, and extensions, and database backup workflows can use encryption.

Set backup timing and destination

Automatic backups can execute every 12 hours, daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Select the items to include and where to shop each scheduled backup. Incremental backups are also available for recurring backup activity. One-click restore provides a way to restore a WordPress website from a backup.

Send archives to remote storage

Store backups with Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon S3, Microsoft OneDrive, DigitalOcean Spaces, FTP, or SFTP. The Pro edition also supports Wasabi, pCloud, Backblaze, WebDAV, and more. Remote backups can be restored, and migration can use remote storage.

When remote storage is enabled, the add-on connects to the selected provider. Backup archives and required authentication tokens are sent to that service.

Move sites or test changes in staging

Clone and migrate a WordPress site to a new domain with a single click. Supported paths include moving a development site to a new server or domain, and moving a live site to another server.

Create a staging site in a subdirectory of the production site to test WordPress, extension, theme, and other website changes. Choose what to copy from the live site to staging, then push staging to live when changes are ready. Pro also supports WordPress multisite backups and staging.

Manage multisite and access

The Pro edition can create a fresh WordPress installation, migrate a child site from a multisite installation to a single WordPress install, and control visitor access to WPvivid Backup & Migration Pro. White labeling is available when a customized presentation is needed.

Start with a backup or site transfer

Install WPvivid Backup & Migration Pro on the WordPress site you want to manage. Choose the backup contents, schedule, and destination. From there, configure remote storage, create a staging site, or prepare a migration for the required process.
