Imported events or live widget feeds

Import Eventbrite Events Pro brings Eventbrite event information into WordPress as imported records, or displays live listings with the Pro Eventbrite Widget. Imported details can include the title, description, pictures, start and end dates, venue, and organizer. Choose automatic publishing or draft status, then assign imported events to WordPress categories.

Import sources and update schedules

Imports use the Eventbrite API. Choose an Event ID, organizer ID, collection ID, or your Eventbrite account as the source. Multiple event IDs can be processed in one operation. Synchronization can update existing events, and import history logs show when imports ran and which events were included. Advanced synchronization with an Eventbrite organizer profile is also available.

Automatic imports can run hourly, twice a day, daily, weekly, or monthly. You can edit schedules later as your event calendar changes.

Live widget feeds and their controls

The Pro Eventbrite Widget displays events by organizer ID, collection ID, or specific Eventbrite event IDs without importing them first. Widget show requires no API token, OAuth setup, or Eventbrite authorization. Choose from grid, list, masonry, timeline, ticket, minimal grid, and compact list layouts. Ticket buttons can open a popup checkout modal or link directly to Eventbrite.

Feeds include date and time filters, pagination, Load More, Infinite Scroll, smart caching with automatic refresh, and custom CSS per feed. A visual shortcode builder helps create widget shortcodes for pages, posts, and widget areas. The add-on also includes an Upcoming Events widget and an Upcoming Events Elementor Widget.

WordPress event plugin settings

Imported events can be added to The Events Calendar, Events Manager, Event Organiser, EventON, My Calendar, or EventPrime. The plugin also has an in-built event management option, responsive event listings, event detail pages, and an event registration widget on single event pages. Use the [eventbrite_events] shortcode to display events.

Install and configure Pro

If the basic version is installed, remove it before installing Pro. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New, choose Upload Plugin, upload the Pro ZIP file, choose Install Now, then locate Import Eventbrite Events Pro in the Plugins screen and activate it.

After activation, select an import source and configure its event or account details. Choose whether imported content should be published or saved as drafts, then set a schedule if you need regular synchronization. To display live listings without importing event records, configure a widget or use the shortcode tools.
