Send shoppers to the next useful page

Choose a default destination after a shopper adds a product: checkout, a category, a product, or a custom page. Add to Cart Redirect for WooCommerce Pro also lets you set a different destination for individual products, use a unique URL including an external URL, or turn off redirects for selected products. Product rules can apply on archive pages and work with Ajax-based add-to-cart buttons.

Install and activate the add-on, then open WooCommerce > Direct checkout. In Basic settings, select the default destination and enable or disable redirection after add to cart. Configure product-specific behavior in that product's Pro options.

Quick purchase from product and shop pages

Add a Buy Now button to product or shop pages, then set its label and position. Choose whether it sends shoppers to the cart or checkout, disable it for selected products, and decide whether other cart items are cleared when a shopper uses it. The Amazon-style option sends the selected product to checkout while keeping other cart entries for later.

On category, shop, and archive pages, Buy Now can add the first variation of a variable product directly to the cart. Required attributes need default values; otherwise, the product may show a warning that required fields cannot be blank.

Archive pages can also display a product preview popup. Pro settings let you adjust its width, background, and text colors.

Adjust the checkout journey

• Disable the cart page and send cart visits to checkout, or remove the Continue Shopping link.
• Enable one-page checkout to show cart contents and checkout forms together. This setup requires the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode; it does not work with the WooCommerce Checkout Block.
• Let shoppers change quantities or remove products from checkout. These controls are unavailable while one-page checkout is enabled.
• Customize the Add to Cart, Read More, and Select Options labels.
• Require login or registration before checkout, and use the Sold individually setting to limit product quantity.
• Retain UTM parameters for order-source tracking and enable the built-in checkout CAPTCHA, which does not need a third-party key.

Pro can also remove the “Ship to a different address?” option and selected billing or shipping fields. Field removal requires a checkout page built with the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.

Choose a post-purchase destination

Set a general success or thank-you page, then assign a different page to individual products for product-specific post-purchase journeys. If an order includes products with different thank-you pages, set a redirect weight for each product; the page with the highest weight is used.

Put the settings to work

After configuring the global and product-level rules, test the relevant add-to-cart and Buy Now buttons, redirect destinations, checkout layout, and thank-you pages before publishing the purchase flow.
