One consent flow from notice to settings

EU Cookies Bar for WordPress Premium connects a cookie notice with a settings panel where visitors can review the website's privacy information and cookie list, then accept or decline and adjust their selections. A compact settings bar can reopen the panel. To place a settings link or text elsewhere, use the [eucookiesbar_settings] shortcode.

Consent rules and cookie details

Set how long an accepted agreement lasts, and pick whether cookies are blocked until a visitor accepts. Mark strictly necessary cookies as always enabled, with name prefixes available for cookies that should remain enabled. The privacy policy area can explain the website's cookie use and list the cookies in use. Premium also adds an expiration period for cookie rejections, plus multilingual support and language detection.

Premium can scan the site to detect cookies and display cookie information on the front end and in the back end. Administrators can add, edit or delete entries, including each cookie's name, category, duration and description. Create categories with names and descriptions, assign cookies to them, mark selected cookies as Always Active, and rearrange categories by dragging them.

Configure the notice and settings panel

Edit the notice message with the WordPress editor and place the bar at the top, bottom, bottom left or bottom right. Choose whether it includes decline and close buttons. Closing the bar, scrolling or refreshing can be configured to accept or decline, depending on the selected behavior. The bar's font size, text and background colors, opacity and custom CSS field let you adjust its appearance.

Premium adds controls for the privacy button's design, a header title, the delay before the bar appears and a dismissal timeout. Conditional tags can control where the bar appears. For the settings panel, choose a layout, show cookies as a list or tabs, and add custom icons. Options control whether the cookie list, descriptions and selected categories appear; labels can be customized for the overview, cookie list, cookie name and description columns, and the Always Active and Active Cookie sections. The save, accept and reject buttons also have show and color settings.

Premium integrations and administration

Premium integrates with Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel for tracking. A floating icon can provide quick access to cookie settings, with controls for its position and icon. Administrators can review activity logs of interactions with the consent mechanism and generate reports on cookie consent performance.

Install and configure

Upload the plugin to WordPress, activate it, then configure the notice, visitor choices, cookie categories, settings panel and floating icon. Add the shortcode anywhere a direct settings link or text is needed. Use the Premium settings for language detection, tracking integrations, logs and reports.
