Shipping methods depend on destination and packaging

Australia Post WooCommerce Extension Pro calculates shipping costs and estimated delivery times for WooCommerce orders. Available methods can appear in the cart and at checkout, while WooCommerce shipping zones let you organize options by destination.

For domestic parcels, enable Regular Post, Express Post or Courier Post as needed. Courier Post is available between metropolitan locations. International parcel services include Economy Air, Economy Sea, Standard International, Express International and International Courier. You can enter custom box details for international shipping calculations.

Package details shape the shipping calculation

Set default product weight and dimensions for items that are missing those details. On the cart and checkout pages, you can display delivery estimates, tailor shipping method titles or display the cheapest available option when several methods apply.

A handling adjustment can be a number or percentage: a positive value includes a fee, while a negative value applies a discount.

Tracking and extra services

Add the Australia Post tracking number to an order so a tracking link appears in the customer's account and in order emails. Extra Cover and Signature on Delivery can be enabled as services. To let customers select whether to add them, enable the separate extra-services option along with each service you want to offer.

Prepaid satchels and letters

Prepaid domestic satchels use fixed prices for the supported options:

• Regular Post small (500 g), medium (3 kg) and large (5 kg) satchels
• Express Post small (500 g), medium (3 kg) and large (5 kg) satchels
• Courier Post medium (3 kg) satchels

Letter shipping supports the following domestic options:

• Regular Small Letter, Regular Large Letter, Regular Large Light Letter, Regular Large Medium Letter and Regular Large Heavy Letter
• Express Post Small Envelope, Express Post Medium Letter and Express Post Large Envelope
• Priority Small Letter, Priority Large Light Letter, Priority Large Medium Letter and Priority Large Heavy Letter

International letter options include Standard Letter, Express Letter, Courier Letter, Registered Small Letter, Registered Large Letter, Registered Small Envelope, Registered Large Envelope, Economy Air Light Letter, Economy Air Medium Letter and Economy Air Heavy Letter.

Testing and setup

Debug mode activates the shipping display for you and shows debugging information at checkout, so you can check options and shipping prices. Install and activate the extension, then configure services, default product dimensions, boxes, checkout titles, delivery estimates, tracking and other options. An Australia Post API key is required to use the API.
