Setup and compatibility

BerqWP Premium brings caching, CDN delivery, image handling, CSS and JavaScript optimization, database maintenance, and Core Web Vitals tools into one WordPress add-on. Selected performance tasks run automatically. It is designed for business sites, blogs, multilingual sites, online stores, and pages built with popular editors or themes.

Install and activate BerqWP on a WordPress site running PHP 7.4 or above. If the hosting provider has a built-in speed optimizer, disable it to avoid overlapping optimization. Activate the license key, select an optimization mode, and save the settings. Sandbox Mode can be used first to test optimization without affecting actual users.

Cloud processing and cache delivery

When the relevant cloud-based optimization mode is enabled with a valid license key, BerqWP sends website pages to the BerqWP Photon Engine. It makes optimized copies and stores them as cache, an approach intended to reduce optimization work on the hosting server.

• BerqWP creates an initial optimized cache quickly, then generates a more fully optimized cache in the background. Automatic cache warmup keeps files prepared, and smart cache invalidation detects page changes and recreates the affected cache.
• Static cache files can be served directly by the web server without running PHP or database queries. Cache rules are configured automatically for Apache, with Nginx cache support also available.

CDN images and loading tools

• BerqWP CDN can deliver container-sized, retina-ready WebP images. The plugin can convert images to WebP, lazy-load images and embeds, and preload images identified as contributing to Largest Contentful Paint.
• Speculative API support uses browser-based prefetching to help returning visitors load pages quickly.

Database upkeep and WordPress controls

• Clean revisions, auto-drafts, trashed posts and comments, expired transients, and orphaned metadata. Database table optimization can be scheduled daily, weekly, or monthly.
• Disable or limit selected WordPress functions, including the Heartbeat API, emojis, embeds, XML-RPC, REST API discovery links, and self pingbacks.
• Web Vitals Analytics delivers real-time Core Web Vitals monitoring.

Hosting and plugin support

BerqWP works with Apache, Nginx, and LiteSpeed servers and can be used with any hosting provider. It also works with Cloudflare, external CDNs, WooCommerce, Elementor, Divi Builder, common SEO extensions, and several multilingual tools.

Cache generation and ongoing use

After setup, BerqWP handles cache generation and the selected optimization tasks automatically. Use Sandbox Mode to test the optimization, then rely on cache warmup and smart invalidation to prepare cache files and refresh affected pages when they change.
