How can visitors find a location?
The advanced Store Locator includes search options and real-time category filtering. Its advanced filters support multiple selection logic, and radius filters can help visitors narrow a location search. For a directory view, show marker listings below or alongside a map in Basic List, Basic Table, Advanced Table, or Carousel layouts.
How can maps and markers be configured?
The Pro edition supports unlimited maps and markers. Set custom map dimensions and a zoom level from 1 to 22, choose language and regional settings, and configure controls for zooming, panning, and map types. Available views include Roadmap, Terrain, Satellite, and Hybrid, with Google Map Street View integration. Markers can be dragged into position and assigned custom icons.
Which show and data options are available?
Directions are available in a classic Legacy Design layout or a Modern Drawer side panel. Add custom map themes with JSON settings, and use custom CSS and JavaScript for further styling and behavior adjustments. Import or export map data in JSON or CSV format for backups and migration. Multiple maps can appear on the same page.
How do you add a map to a page?
Install and activate the plugin, then enter a Google Maps API key in its settings. You can obtain a key through the Google Cloud Console; setup guides and video tutorials are available. In the WordPress dashboard, open WP Google Map, choose Add New, set the map title and location, add markers, and save. Copy the map's shortcode from the map list and paste it into a page, post, or sidebar. For example: [gmap-embed id="123"].
