WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click Pro uses JavaScript and CSS controls to limit common browser actions on WordPress posts and the home page. These settings can make routine copying less direct, though visitors may still retrieve published material through other methods.

Choose where and what to restrict

Set protection for posts and the home page, then use the available access controls to select who can copy content. Options can limit text selection and copying, disable the right-click context menu on protected content and images, and restrict common image-saving actions.

• Restrict copy-and-paste and shortcuts such as CTRL+A, CTRL+C, CTRL+X, CTRL+S, and CTRL+V. Supported Cmd shortcuts are also restricted on Mac; text fields and editable areas remain usable.
• When a user tries to right-click or save an image, show an alert message, image advertisement, or HTML advertisement.

Add watermarks to images

The Pro edition includes image watermarking. Configure a watermark so images copied from the site can still show the chosen mark, providing a visible connection to your site or brand. Watermarking works alongside the copy controls, so you can configure image marking separately from browser interaction settings.

Review protection activity and errors

The free Protection Center opens after 500 visits with blocked actions have been recorded. It summarizes visits and blocked interactions, shows activity by day, and lists pages visitors interact with most. It entries counts by page, action type, and hour, without storing IP addresses, cookies, user agents, or other personal data; logged-in editors and administrators, as well as bots, are not counted. An optional weekly report goes to the site administrator on Mondays, only in weeks with activity.

The free Error Monitor reads available site error logs and groups repeated messages into issues. Each issue includes its file and line, severity, and the extension, theme, or WordPress component associated with it.

Install and configure

Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then open its control panel. Choose posts and the home page, configure the actions and visitor messages you need, and set up image watermarking if you want to mark published images. Save the settings, then review the protected pages and images as a visitor. You can adjust the options from the control panel without coding or editing your theme.
