Collect and present customer feedback
Strong Testimonials – Paid version is a WordPress testimonial add-on for collecting customer experiences and publishing them on a website. It is designed to support both straightforward testimonial collection and more structured review processes, with tools for creating forms, organizing content, and displaying testimonials through configurable views.
The paid version adds capabilities for businesses that want richer customer stories, broader review sources, and more control over how feedback appears. It can be used for service businesses, product sites, agencies, review sites, and other WordPress projects that need to gather and present customer opinions.
Paid capabilities for richer testimonials
- Video testimonials: Allow clients to add video to their testimonials, helping them share experiences in a more personal format.
- External review imports: Import, manage, and display reviews from Google, Facebook, Booking, Airbnb, Yelp, Trustpilot, Capterra, and G2 through the dedicated third-party importer.
- Custom collection fields: Add extra fields to testimonial submission forms and optionally display those fields with the testimonials. For example, a car review website can collect the manufacturer, model, and horsepower.
- Multiple collection forms: Create multiple forms for different products or testimonial types, with no stated limit on the number of forms.
- Advanced views: Control the order of testimonial fields with drag and drop, including the name, picture, URL, and testimonial content.
- Properties: Replace the default word “testimonials” with another term, such as “reviews” or “ratings.”
- Captcha anti-spam protection: Add spam protection to testimonial collection forms.
- Templates and infinite scroll: Use ready-made templates and load additional testimonials as visitors scroll down the page.
- Enhanced emails: Send a thank-you email after a testimonial is approved and configure custom notification emails for multiple administrators.
Practical display workflow
Testimonial display is managed through a View. Instead of working with multiple shortcodes and extensive option lists, you can create views in an editor and configure each one for a particular purpose. Examples include a submission form, a static grid, or a slideshow. Views can be displayed with a shortcode or widget, and unlimited views can be created.
The add-on includes designs with basic background and font color settings. Some templates have light and dark versions and other options, while the remaining styling is inherited from the active theme. More detailed changes, such as fonts, margins, and borders, require custom CSS. Templates can also be copied for closer integration with a website’s design.
Installation and setup
Install Strong Testimonials – Paid version in your WordPress website, then create a testimonial collection form. Add or remove fields, adjust their order, labels, and placeholders, and configure notification emails for administrators. Next, create a View for the way you want to collect or display feedback, then place that View using its shortcode or widget.
For ongoing administration, review submitted testimonials, approve appropriate entries, and use enhanced emails to acknowledge approved contributions. The paid version includes priority email support and support and updates for 12 months.
