NextGEN Pro and NextGEN Plus are paid editions that extend the NextGEN Gallery add-on for WordPress. They give photographers, visual artists, and imaging professionals tools to organize photos, present collections, and manage proofing and sales.

Organize photos and galleries

Batch upload photos, import their metadata, or add pictures from a ZIP file or folder. Add, delete, and rearrange photos, then group images with tags. Galleries contain and display photos; albums collect related galleries so visitors can view them together.

In the WordPress editor, the Insert Gallery Window lets you create, manage, personalize, and place galleries or albums without shortcodes. A shortcode system is also available. Lightroom integration can sync and create galleries from Adobe Lightroom without requiring website updates.

Choose how images appear

Present photos in mosaic, masonry, tile, filmstrip, slideshow, thumbnail, imagebrowser, and other gallery layouts. Settings control dimensions, styling, timing, transitions, controls, and lightbox effects. Themes and animations provide more presentation settings.

Galleries are responsive on phones and tablets, including Android and iOS devices. The Pro Lightbox provides fullscreen viewing with mobile gesture support.

Manage picture access and sharing

Apply image or text watermarks and protect gallery images from right-click and drag-and-drop downloading. Gallery permissions let you pick who can read, edit, and publish galleries. Social sharing, search tools, and backups support other parts of gallery management.

Proof, sell, and deliver photography

Image proofing lets customers select photos they want to purchase. Sell individual images or complete galleries with payment processing through Stripe and PayPal. Digital downloads deliver purchased images, while automated print lab fulfillment can send print orders to customers with zero commissions.

Automatic tax calculations can calculate sales tax when required, and coupons can provide discounts or incentives for gallery sales.

Set up a gallery workflow

Add NextGEN Gallery to WordPress, create galleries and albums, then upload or import photos and organize them with tags. Choose a display style and insert the gallery or album into your content. Configure presentation, proofing, sales, delivery, and permissions to fit your workflow.
