Five Star Restaurant Menu and Food Ordering Premium lets restaurants build food and drink menus for WordPress websites. Organize menus and entries, then publish them in responsive layouts for mobile devices and larger screens. Premium adds options for how menus look and what information each entry can show.

Choose a layout for the menu

The Refined style presents an elegant menu without pictures, while the Image style centers food photography. Luxe is a minimalist variation on Refined. The Ordering style is adapted for ordering features available in the ultimate version. In that version, users can browse items, add them to a cart and proceed through checkout.

Describe dishes and help visitors find them

Add photos and prices to food or drink items, including multiple prices for one item where appropriate. Premium custom fields let you include other menu details. Sorting, filtering and search give visitors ways to find particular meals or drinks.

Use dietary and ethical requirement icons to show relevant information at a glance. Divide a menu into sections such as appetizers, main courses, desserts, children’s menus, gluten-free choices or weekly specials. Section notes can add context, and an optional sidebar gives visitors quick access to sections.

Publish menus across your website

Add a menu to a page with a Gutenberg block or shortcode, or use the included patterns to place menus, sections and individual items in block theme templates. Create separate menus for different locations, services or occasions. Widgets can display selected items in a sidebar or footer.

Restaurant menu structured data is integrated automatically to help search engines identify a page as a menu. The plugin can also generate a QR code that links directly to the online menu, for access at restaurant tables. Use menu footers for legal disclaimers or other notes.

Set up and keep menus current

1. Install and activate the add-on in WordPress.
2. Follow the automatic walk-through to make menu items, add the menu to your website and set key options.
3. Choose a Premium layout, organize sections and items, and configure sorting, filtering or search as needed.
4. Publish the menu with a block, shortcode, pattern, widget or QR code.
5. Update dishes, prices and notes in the online menu when they change.

WPML compatibility is available for multilingual sites. Menu item reviews and review submission forms require the Premium version of the Five Star Restaurant Reviews plugin.
