EasyMedia Pro extends EasyMedia’s WordPress media tools with controls for upload rules and visibility into file activity. The main add-on also includes settings for upload size, maximum execution time, and memory limits, plus a dashboard showing detected WordPress and server settings.

Set limits and file rules

Role-based limits let administrators set different upload allowances for roles such as Administrator, Editor, and Author. A separate limit can be assigned to an individual visitor, overriding global settings for that account.

File type restrictions let you allow selected formats for users. For example, an account that only needs pictures can be restricted from uploading ZIP or executable files where appropriate.

Review files and upload activity

Upload logs record the user, file name, size, type, and timestamp. Attachment details display where a file is used across posts, pages, or products, while media library columns and attachment details can display file sizes.

A graphical dashboard summarizes recent uploads, overall usage, media library activity, and the top uploader list. Administrators can export upload logs and generate detailed reports for analysis.

Configure EasyMedia

Install and activate EasyMedia, then open Media > EasyMedia in the WordPress dashboard. The settings show detected upload limits, maximum execution time, memory limit, and other system information. EasyMedia Pro can automatically install and configure the main add-on if needed.

Plugin-supported settings are managed in the dashboard without editing code or php.ini files. A limit enforced by the server may still need to be changed through your hosting provider; for example, a plugin alone cannot raise a server limit from 16 MB to 128 MB. EasyMedia Pro includes priority support and regular updates.
