Product options and add-ons

WooCommerce Extra Product Options Premium by ThemeHigh lets stores collect additional information, present configurable choices and adjust product prices according to customer selections. Fields and sections are managed through the product option workflow.

Field types and sections

The add-on supports 20 advanced field types: text, hidden, password, number, email, URL, slider or range, telephone, textarea, select, radio button, checkbox, checkbox group, date picker, color picker, heading, paragraph, switch, separator and time picker.

Premium includes eight types: multi-select, file upload, HTML, color palette, image group, date and time range picker, product group and label swatches. Group related fields in custom sections and show them before or after the add to cart button.

Display rules and pricing

Rules can show or conceal fields and sections based on the product, category, tag, user role, other field values, date or time picker values, product variation or product quantity. Options can therefore respond to shopper selections and product context.

Pricing methods cover paid add-ons and customer-entered amounts. They include fixed pricing, custom pricing, dynamic pricing based on units, dynamic pricing that excludes the base price, percentage pricing and character-count pricing.

Custom and confirmation validators help check submitted data. The add-on also lets you change the add to cart button text and apply CSS styling to input fields and sections.

Cart, checkout and multilingual display

Choose whether field values appear on the cart page, checkout page and order details page. The plugin is WPML compatible for multilingual product pages.

The plugin is compatible with themes including Astra, WoodMart, Divi, Sydney, Hestia, Avada, Flatsome, OceanWP, Kadence, Customify and Storefront.

Setup

Install the plugin on a WooCommerce site, then create the needed product fields and sections. Select each field type and display position, define relevant rules, configure styling, and add pricing or validation where needed.

Review how values appear on the cart, checkout and order details pages before publishing the product options. For multilingual stores, configure product pages with WPML compatibility in mind.
