Choose question formats
Radio questions allow one correct multiple-choice answer, while checkbox questions can have several correct answers. Dropdown questions present a single choice from a list. For typed responses, use text, short text, number, or date questions. Fill-in-the-blank, dropdown fill-in-the-blanks, matching, and ranking formats support other response styles; an HTML banner can show information without requiring an answer.
Questions can include images, audio, or video, and the built-in text editor lets you format their content. Questions and quizzes can also be organized into categories.
Set timing, navigation, and scoring
A quiz timer can submit the quiz automatically when time runs out. Paid edition options include a timer for each question, multi-page quizzes, navigation, and custom pagination. Randomize questions or answers, or use a question bank to draw a selection of questions.
Set a passing score and show various messages to users who pass or fail. Score intervals can show different messages for different results, including for personality quizzes. Add an explanation to a question and show it after the participant answers.
Manage results and other quiz options
Paid features include scheduling a quiz, redirecting users after completion, changing button text through General Settings, and using leaderboards. Other listed examples include quizzes with certificates, paid quizzes using PayPal, flashcards, and TOEFL practice tests. Results can also be exported to CSV, and the Pro capability list includes charts and manual grading.
Create and publish a quiz
In WordPress, open Questions and create the questions you need. Then go to Quizzes, choose Add New, enter a title, add the prepared questions, and configure the available settings. Save the quiz, copy its shortcode, and paste it into a page, post, or text widget.
