Set review submission rules

Customers can attach product pictures and add a title to their reviews. Store administrators can set a maximum picture size or require a picture before submission. The review form can show a GDPR-related message and consent checkbox so customers can agree to share their review on the page. Administrators can edit review text and pictures or add reviews through the extension’s review form.

Customer-uploaded review images can be stored in folders separate from images imported from AliExpress for later modification.

Choose how reviews appear and are filtered

Reviews can be sorted from newest to oldest and shown with overall ratings, total review counts, and rating breakdowns. Choose a grid or default style, adjust background and text colors, show review dates and full-size images, and add custom CSS. Image popups can use clickable images or a lightbox effect with the normal style.

Visitors can filter reviews by rating, whether they contain pictures, or verified-buyer status. AJAX pagination and filtering let visitors change pages or apply filters without reloading the page. Default filters are available for product or review pages.

Set reminder and coupon email conditions

After a scheduled period from the time an order is marked complete, the plugin can send a reminder to a customer who purchased a product and has not reviewed that item. The reminder can include a discount coupon to encourage a review and product picture. Email content can use the {customer_name} shortcode.

When a qualifying review is published, the plugin can send a coupon email to its author. Administrators can select an existing WooCommerce coupon or configure the plugin to generate a unique coupon using WooCommerce coupon settings. Coupon requirements can include a minimum rating or the presence of a picture. A product can also be configured to skip reminder emails when no coupon is provided.

Manage imported and additional reviews

Import reviews to a selected WooCommerce product with an AliExpress product ID. Choose ratings for import, and use phrase filters to replace unwanted words or phrases in imported names and review content. Customers can vote reviews up or down to indicate whether they found them helpful.

With WPML or Polylang active, reminder and coupon emails can be sent in the customer’s language.

Install Photo Reviews for WooCommerce Premium on a WordPress website running WooCommerce. Configure the review display, picture rules, filters, reminder timing, email content, and coupon options for the store’s workflow. Review the front-end presentation, then enable the follow-up and incentive settings customers should receive.
