Set amounts and payment methods
Choose a fixed amount, offer options in a dropdown or let users enter an amount, as with a donation. Forms can use iDEAL | WERO and payment methods available through Mollie, including credit and debit cards, PayPal, Bancontact, SEPA, Bitcoin and Belfius. Paytium excludes Klarna.
For a recurring payment that starts with iDEAL | WERO, the first payment uses that method and later automatic payments use SEPA Direct Debit. The stated Netherlands migration plan has iDEAL to WERO transition beginning in late 2026 and completing by the end of 2027. During the combined-logo introduction, checkout functionality remains the same.
Add forms and collect details
Create forms in the Classic editor or add them to posts and pages with a shortcode or the Paytium Code block in the WordPress block editor. Add custom fields to collect information such as an email address or other customer details. Available field types include email, text and radio buttons.
Mollie processes the payment. Payment statuses can be reviewed in the WordPress admin, where the built-in Order Status can also track your own processing.
Configure follow-up after payment
Commercial Paytium editions include options for custom text after payment, redirects, automatic emails, invoices and payment exports. Integrations with MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, MailPoet and Zapier can connect payment activity with other workflows.
