Match availability to your schedule and capacity
Set the dates and times available for reservations, add exceptions for holidays or special events, and define minimum and maximum party sizes. Guests choose a party size before choosing a date and time, allowing availability checks to account for the intended group and configured restrictions.
Premium limits apply over a dining block length. Set a maximum number of reservations per block to limit bookings, or a maximum number of seats or people to limit guest capacity. You can also set thresholds below which bookings are automatically confirmed. These rules work with party-size settings, auto-confirmation, early-booking options, and other restrictions so the form shows only matching days and time slots.
For multiple locations configured through Five Star Business Profile, set reservation and seat limits separately for each location. A shortcode can also assign a form to a particular location and conceal the location selector.
Collect reservation details
Add Premium custom fields as text inputs, dropdowns, checkboxes, or radio buttons. Use them to ask for promo codes, allergy information, dietary concerns, or other details relevant to a booking. When field choices are reordered, disabled, or recreated, their identities are retained to help preserve the meaning of information on existing reservations.
You can also require a phone number, choose date and time formats, and set the message guests see after a successful booking.
Place the form and manage requests
Add the form to a page with the Gutenberg restaurant booking block or the [booking-form] shortcode, select a reservation page in the add-on settings, or use an included pattern with a block-based theme. An activation walkthrough helps you add the form and set key options.
Review requests in the administration area, where staff can add or edit bookings and confirm or reject new requests. Administrators can receive an email when a request arrives, and guests can receive email notices when a booking is confirmed or rejected.
Configure booking notifications
The Premium notifications table lets you create an unlimited number of unique notifications. For each one, choose a trigger, such as a new pending, confirmed, or closed booking, then set the recipient, subject, and message. Template tags can insert reservation details into the message.
After activation, configure the schedule, party-size rules, locations, capacity limits, custom fields, and notification messages. Then place the booking form on the page guests should use to reserve.
