Build calendars for events and schedules

Event Calendar Premium is a flexible WordPress calendar add-on for displaying event dates in a clear, configurable format. It can render Day, Week, Month, and Resource calendar views, making it suitable for schedules that need more than a simple list of dates. Each event box links to the original event defined in your calendar, helping visitors move from the calendar show to the related event.

The extension can also be used as a date picker or as a full calendar. You can create an unlimited number of events in one calendar and place calendars on pages, posts, or widgets with shortcodes.

Premium themes and calendar layouts

The Premium version includes three customizable themes: Crazy Calendar Theme, Schedule Theme, and Full Year Calendar Theme. These are added to the available calendar presentation options and can be previewed before you place a theme on a page.

The supplied capabilities also include Total Calendar, Timeline, Crazy, Schedule, and Full Year types. Event colors can be used within these types, while the broader theme collection includes calendar, simple, flexible, and timeline variations. This gives you different presentation approaches for schedules, date-focused pages, and longer planning views.

Recurring events and date controls

Premium works with recurring events on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. You can set event start and end dates as well as start and end times, which helps you represent appointments, classes, activities, or other scheduled items with appropriate timing.

You can select which day begins the week and select the style of the calendar week. Navigation can be configured with suitable left and right icons, and you can set the colors used for today’s numbers and dates. These controls make it easier to adapt the calendar to the way your audience reads schedules.

Customize the visual presentation

Event Calendar Premium provides settings for calendar colors, arrow colors, background colors, font sizes, and font families. Each event can have its own color in the Total Calendar, Timeline, Crazy, Schedule, and Full Year types. You can also add photos to events across all types.

Event labels are designed to be intuitive, and the plugin includes individual settings for each calendar type. These options allow the calendar to reflect the colors and typography of your website instead of relying on a single fixed appearance.

Place calendars throughout your website

After creating events and selecting a layout, use shortcodes to list the calendar wherever it is needed. A calendar can be inserted into a page, post, or widget, and multiple events can be displayed on the same day. Event boxes retain their links to the original event entries, keeping the calendar connected to the information you have defined.
